vern + lettuce want in on this monkey business

I might go back and colour this later, that was fun. (See the last few posts if you’re not sure what this one’s about.)

News: If you’re at the Bath Festival of Children’s Literature on Sat, 27 Sept, come along to the panel talk at the Guildhall with David Fickling, the Etherington Brothers, John Aggs and me! I just got the festival booklet, the lineup of children’s book creators looks amazing. You can book tickets to our event here or visit the main festival website here!

I’m also going to be on a DFC panel at the upcoming Caption comics festival in Oxford on Sat, 9 Aug. Here’s the flyer, should be good fun. I can’t wait to see who turns up at the pub.

Okay, funny things about the internet. My lovely web designer, Dan Fone showed me this tracker thing I can use to see which search engine terms people have used to get to my website and sites that have referred them to me. I couldn’t believe it when I found that the Google search term a nice website brings up my website as number six! I’m not quite vain enough to think that this means mine is the sixth nicest website in the whole world, but it still made me go ‘whoo whoo!’ and do a few air punches. The other thing I found out is that my chief referrer is a Russian person with the cosy name of Lord from Hell. The internet is such a weird place.
